Who is eligible to lease a car?
To lease a car, you must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driving licence for a minimum of 1 year.
What are the available car models?
We provide a wide selection of brand-new and pre-owned vehicles, including Continental, Japanese, Korean, German, French and Chinese makes. If you don’t see what you are looking for, or have a specific model in mind, please reach out to us through our enquiry form.
What is the minimum lease term for a car?
We offer the most flexible lease tenure in the market. The minimum period to lease a brand-new car is from 18 months and 12 months for a pre-owned ride.
Can I lease a car for Private Hire usage?
Our cars are mainly for personal usage only.
Are there corporate leasing options?
Yes, we offer customized leasing solutions designed to meet the specific needs of your business.
Can I lease a car with a foreign driving licence?
You must provide your foreign driving licence with a valid International Driving Permit (IDP). If an IDP is not available, you are required to provide an official translation of your foreign driving licence in English.
An IDP is not required if your driving license is issued from an ASEAN country. If you are a foreigner residing in Singapore for more than 12 months, you are required to convert your foreign licence to a valid Singapore driving licence.
Travelling to Malaysia
Can I drive the car into Malaysia?
Yes, you can. All our leased vehicles are permitted to be driven into Malaysia.
What do I need to bring when entering Malaysia in my leased vehicle?
Besides your passport and Touch & Go Card, you will require a Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) confirmation slip, as well as insurance and road tax documents.
Do I have to register for VEP for my leased vehicle?
No, Sime Darby Services will register on your behalf.
